Is it chaos or is it perfect?

Chaos is defined as 'complete disorder and confusion'.  Divine chaos is defined as complete disorder and confusion that is directed by Spirit.  Many of us are seeing and feeling chaos in our lives, but are unable to see the divine hand in any of it.  In a lot of the sessions I've done lately, there is a common theme:

  • relationships that are ending,

  • career paths that are changing,

  • friendships that are dissolving,

  • jobs that are unsatisfying,

  • loved ones that are entering their final chapter,

  • an overall feelng of disharmony with what is,

Many of us are focusing on the discomfort these changes have brought into our lives.  We're human.  We don't like change.  At the same time, we are spiritual beings who need to evolve and grow.  Discomfort is part of the process of changing and growing.  Discomfort doesn't have to be a negative thing.  We need to shift our perception of negativity and  embrace this discomfort.   It is temporary.  In the process of releasing, we open a space within ourselves to invite-in the new.  That space, that loss, that opening is called the void.  The void, while unpleasant, has a beautiful gift for us.  What is this beautiful gift?  It could be a new lover, a new career, a group of new friends, a new job, a new path or the next steps on your journey.

How can the void be more tolerable?  Walk through the void and trust that the discomfort is required to let go of what no longer serves you.  Walk through the unpleasantness, the sadness, the loss, the grief, the anger, the confusion, the frustration, the tears.  Walk through the void knowing that on the other side there is peace and harmony.  When we walk through the void feeling certain of the beauty that awaits us, we are admitting our ability to see the glass as half full.  In seeing the glass as half full, we see the divine perfection in everything.  Putting our trust in this divine perfection is vital for a successful journey.
