“This is a terrific book! I really loved it. I read almost all of it in less than a week, took notes, did some of the exercises, and started on my lists. I really liked how the author walked me through doing the lists. I like having something practical to do to facilitate the progress I'm looking for. Since reading the book, for the past couple of weeks, I've been reading my list out loud to myself a couple times a day as instructed, and I find the ideas coming to mind as I'm at work or play. Hopefully this change in thought process will bring me to the "I Do" I'm looking for. I don't usually meditate daily, but I liked a few of the meditations enough to use them as well. I do feel the first one especially has helped me get on the journey as the book describes. Definitely consider using what tools and ideas resonate for you, as some of the topics might not apply to you. I can see this book used by adults of all ages, whether you've been married before as I have, or you're on your first relationships. I had the pleasure of attending the author's lecture before buying the book, and she seemed very genuine, not just a writer trying to sell her latest story. “I really enjoyed this book. I feel like the author uses solid examples from her personal life, her clients life, and movies to illustrate issues that arise in relationships. She then provides viable solution to these problems, A few of my favorite subjects include the" importance of forgiveness" and "wearing masks." All and all, a great read.”

“I have read A LOT of relationship books and as a professor in the field of family psychology I have been exposed to a plethora of scholarly articles on the topic. As a result when I started reading the book I didn't have high expectations that I would learn much more about relationships that I hadn't already seen. About half way through the book I realized that I was really enjoying the experience and seeing relationships from a different perspective. There are a lot of real life scenarios that are easily relatable and it was a fun read. I also liked the practical exercises at the end of each chapter. Overall the book was refreshing, down to earth and helpful! I definitely recommend!”
